My Republican opponent apparently thinks politicians should decide what our children read in school.  I believe our school librarians should decide what books are on our school shelves, not politicians.

I love to read, and I love libraries.  I remember going to the public library as a young boy – it was a special occasion.  About 30 years ago, I began keep track of my favorite books.
